As most high performance insulated outdoor gear today represents a significant investment on behalf of the user, the value of durability has come to the forefront of desired user benefit.

Durability is the ability of any outdoor gear to maintain a consistent lavel of performance over an extended period of time. Often, outdoor enthusiasts take a certain amount of pride in the length of time they've had their outdoor gear.

Insotect has specifically developed several insulation technologies targeting an advanced level of durability that exploits the highest potential of insulated gear. For example, our Anchor™ technology adds an element of enhanced structural integrity to the already proven durability of the shingle insulation system.

Innovative Insotect insulation systems, such as Insotect Dualmax™, added an outer layer of rugged synthetic insulation to increase the durability of its inner layer of natural down insulation. This pioneering combination of two insulation fills formed the core of the 2003 Outdoor Gear of the Year Award recipient. Insotect A-Flex™, as well, showe leadership in achieving Backpacker magazine's "Bombproof Bag" distinction in 2005.
